I primarily work from Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Humanistic perspectives; however, I regularly incorporate strategies and ideas from other theoretical perspectives as well.   I have a special interest in and have pursued specialization in treating Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual clients and in providing Group Therapy.  My group therapy experience is rather diverse.  I have expertise in facilitating structured/skills-based groups, support groups, and interpersonal process groups for women, men and children.

More personally, I am an “Army Wife” and mother.  I served many years in the Army Reserves and my husband is currently an officer and veteran in the Army National Guard.  As such, I have a passion for working with and for military families.  My interests/hobbies include traveling, event planning, knitting, sewing and reading.  I am greatly enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
